The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. We stock a wide choice of wines by the glass, cask conditioned ales, lagers and ciders.

Our guests can enjoy dining in our cosy bar or restaurant areas. We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. We also have a comfortable outdoor terrace and garden area with picturesque babbling brook.

We also have a small in-pub coffee shop and delicatessen! Selling the best of local produce, bread, milk and a selection of luxury food and drink items, the shop is open whenever we are. We also provide great coffees to drink in or take away.

Our menu focusses on great steaks and seafood (vegetarian/ vegan always available).

Note: There are two pubs called the Horse and Groom in the area - we are the Horse and Groom Inn at Upper Oddington.

Found Horse and Groom searching for a dog friendly foodie pub. H & G came up trumps. Excellent food and service excellent. Very attentive but not overbearing. Faultless and we’ll go again

The pub is a delight. Our lunchtime visits were a delight too. A nice selection of surf or turf and good selection of drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff welcome us with a smile and are comfortable having a friendly chat too. The food is delicious and a good level of service means you do not wait an excessive amount of time. The pub and it's toilets are very clean. For us, the Horse and Groom is simply perfect and we plan many more visits.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch - good food,excellent service & accommodated our 4 legged furry friend with a table that had space around to allow a mat for him to settle. All in all a excellent visit.

What a beautiful little gem set in the Cotswolds! Delicious food, fantastic service, very welcoming… with a lovely fire on the go. I met a friend here for a catch-up lunch; the staff were very attentive, without rushing us at all. We felt very relaxed. Will definitely be going here again soon.

Great atmosphere, excellent food and good value. Just let down by one of the 5 orders being forgotten and therefore delivered late after the other 4 guests had eaten. Particularly disappointing as it was a birthday celebration and it was the person celebrating his birthday whose order was forgotten. We were offered the cost of one drink as a token but not great.

We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your recent visit and can only apologise for the late delivery of one of the main dishes, owing to an oversight by one of our servers in putting your order through to the kitchen. I think this was fairly swiftly rectified as the kitchen prioritised preparing the late-ordered dish and we provided a complimentary drink while this took place. Sorry for any inconvenience and we hope to see you again soon.
