We were seated next to the kitchen at a table that was too large and not very intimate. This is a pricey experience and should be more polished.

Waiter took a while to get us the scones and tea. The tea pots were not hot enough. Also missing sugar cubes and took a long time for the waiter to bring them. By the time he brought them, the tea temperature was warm. We also asked for hot water and more scones and that took a while too. Overall the waiter was not tentative to our needs. He rushed quickly away after serving us what we need. Didn't leave us time to ask for more things. We've been here a few times before, and the waitresses have always been very tentative and caring, but this waiter is just not very tentative. So unfortunately we couldn't give him a higher tip than what we normally would.

Overall a good experience; the sandwiches were all excellent, and the scones were ok (although probably not a great idea to pair lemon curd with a maple scone), but the dessert courses were all a little underwhelming; each tart had soft pastry and didn't have much taste, apart from the orange tart which was good. If you only serve high tea, I'd expect it to be perfect, especially at this price (plus the $30 to enter the gardens).

We had a lovely afternoon tea. I recommend the traditional tea and the Huntington specialty tea. The food selection is delicious and the tea is very smooth. I was surprised by the high quality of everything offered. The presentation was charming and the service was friendly and professional. We loved everything about the tea experience and can’t wait to come back.

This is an enchanting experience. You will enjoy the food and the warm service as much as the beautiful new space.

This is a wonderful tea house with two formal tea levels that include a variety of sandwiches, dainty desserts and delicious scones. There are wonderful "add-ons" like caviar, salads, soups and Prosecco. The wait staff is so professional and friendly. We have dined at the Huntington's Rose Garden Tea Room for years and always look forward to returning! A big "shout out" to Isaac who provided wonderful service!
