   The seating was poor. We were placed next to a table that was packed and the entire restaurant was just about empty. Lots of tables open. This is ridiculous.

   This was our first time there. We went to celebrate a birthday. We had Ryder as our server who was fantastic! They made us feel comfortable and answered all questions that we had and gave us great recommendations. The food coming out was spaced perfectly and was all delicious! The olive oil Gelato to finish was amazing!!!

   Overall, it was a great experience! The food and drinks were delicious and they were great at handling our tables dietary restrictions (food allergies) by making many of the dishes with the allergen ingredients on the side so everyone could indulge the way they wanted. Only negative part of the review is there was an occasional whiff of a foul smell near the kitchen. We asked them to move, but wanted to keep the same server. But ultimately the only option to move and keep our server was only a table further away from the kitchen, which we didn't think would make a difference. So, we stayed where we were at. I don't believe it dampened our view of the meal once the food started coming out.

   The croquetas had way more bechamel and not so much jamon in the filling. The lomo was very very good. The restaurant is less noisy than in the past. We assume some modification of the floor and walls helped. Definitely good.

   We went to Iberian Pig for National Paella Day. Not only was it a great deal, the food and house red wine were delicious. The cheesecake of the day was equally wonderful. Our server Ryder was excellent—friendly and attentive. Overall a truly great experience.

    The food and service are always consistent at the Iberian Pig Decatur. I’ve been going to this restaurant since they first opened and I still think they do a better job than the other Spanish tapas restaurants in the metro area that have opened.
