   Icon Restaurant and Lounge left a lasting impression on me. From their captivating social media presence to the in-person experience, every aspect was a true delight. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was warmly greeted by a gracious hostess who also served as my attentive server. Her timely service set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was delicious, with each bite exceeding my expectations, and the price points were equally impressive. The décor is stunning, creating an atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience. Adding a personal touch, the owner/manager stopped by our table to check on us and briefly chat, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, my visit was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend Icon Restaurant and Lounge to anyone seeking great food, a welcoming ambiance, and impeccable service. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! @Event_Diva_TMCK

   Slow service, great ambiance, and food is disappointing. This is supposed to be an African restaurant, but the African foods are not seasoned accordingly. Very bland. Definitely overpriced for the quality of food served.

   My sister-in-law was visiting from the UK, and I wanted to take her to a nice place that served cultural food. We made a reservation and sat down, only to be told they were serving only catfish and wings with French fries. Our reservation was for 6:15, but we didn’t arrive until 6:45. They still chose to seat us, but I wish they had informed us at the front door or via email that their menu was limited. We went on the evening of Sunday, October 27, so there was no happy hour. The wings were $18 for only 4 to 6 pieces, which I thought was ridiculous. They offered Jollof rice, but it wouldn’t be ready for another hour. At that point, we decided to leave and find another restaurant. I was totally disappointed because we were both extremely hungry after waiting all day in excitement. We ended up going to Pangea, where we received great service and phenomenal food. I will not be returning to or recommending The Icon to anyone. I gave the service two stars because the waitress was patient despite having to communicate such disappointing news about the menu. I gave the atmosphere two stars because I really enjoy Afrobeats.

   The Icon Restaurant and Lounge was such an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back. The Lamp Chops were Superb! Heads off to the Chef last night! It was such a Delightful first time experience. Miss Tory, Greeted us and took care of our every need. The camera guy was very friendly and our pictures turned out nice. Thank You All!

   Terrible experience. Made a reservation and food was so delayed. Some of my party didn’t get their food. I would not recommend.

   The aesthetics of the restaurant was beautiful. The food lacked flavor & when we were asked about the taste of the food we were honest & the lady (whom we assume was the owner/manager) stated she had just tasted it earlier in the day & thought it was fine. I went with a party of 10 & of the 10 people not one of us liked our meals. The drinks were awesome. The service was slow & the food took forever to come out. We could not get a simple service such as water for everyone filled the entire 2 hours we were there. Even a to go order took an hour to come out & that was after we reminded them of the order. The DJ was okay but his music selection killed the vibes ( there were children present and a multi generational crowd was present). Icon presents itself as a place for Sunday funday day party scene but it’s really more of a family Sunday brunch atmosphere. We were looking to have a grown & sexy day out but the presence of children & older adults created a change in the turn up. We probably wouldn’t go back because of the lack of flavor on the food & the slow service & lack of concern from management. My group of friends & I frequent the Dallas social scene frequently and this place is for sure on the do not return list. F.Y. I. The hookah was amazing. Disclaimer: Everyone’s taste buds and expectations are different so try them out first yourself. I will say though it was very clear that they cater to a certain group of people & we were not a part of the type of people they cater to.

   We sat at the bar area and our bartender which I didn’t get her name she had blond twist pretty sweet girl was very friendly and checked on us made me a peach martini it was really good.
