   Lovely place to eat, the food was good but disappointed that they did not have enough steak and ale pie especially as it was early in the evening. Excellent range of beers. Service was a little slow but we enjoyed the meal we had.

   We made a last minute booking to go to The Inn at Cheltenham Parade on Saturday as we were in Harrogate and had heard good reviews about the food and service. Our booking was for 7:30pm. On arrival, after waiting a few minutes, I told the barman we had a table booked. He proceeded to call his colleague over who showed us to our table and gave us some menus. We waited a further fifteen minutes before the waitress came across to ask if we would like to order any drinks. As we had been waiting so long we gave our food order at the same time. The drinks were served, eventually, but we then sat there for a further 40 minutes before the food came out. I had to remind the waitress I had ordered a side order of chips. That took a further five minutes and instead of the chunky chips I had ordered, I was given a bowl of skinny fries. Rather than send them back and wait however long we ate them. When we had finished the main course we asked to look at the dessert menu. As this was not forthcoming, after a further 20 minutes, we finished our drinks and asked for the bill. In addition to all this there were two gentlemen on the next table to us who had been waiting over an hour to be served there main course. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

   A real gem of a place, sadly not very busy when it deserves to be. Lovely atmosphere, just less than half full. Nice bar - great selection of Gins and Beers. Food was outstanding, and good value. Friendly staff and service. Will definitely be returning.

   Would have scored much higher had it not been for the ridiculous wait times from the seemingly over-stretched staff. 10 minutes to be seated to a near empty dining room, to then wait a further 25 for a drinks ORDER. Luckily we were killing time, so chose to wait it out. The food was decent with the flat iron steak and tender stem broccoli being a highlight; the ciabatta bread starter was dry, hard, and lacking enough butter for the entire loaf we received. Raspberry mojito was like water. Friendly enough young girl serving us but ignored by the male member of staff consistently. A bit awkward at times! My recommendation is for this establishment to employ more people; having worked in hospitality myself it was evident that the nice setting, good food and excellent outdoor seating area was let down by poor service. A bit of direction for the floor staff would be good!

   I’ve been to the inn at Cheltenham parade many times before, but this was by far the best visit to date. India and Isobel looked after me and my slightly intoxicated family. The recommendations were brilliant and the service was very great. Food couldn’t have been better, will be dreaming of it. Thanks to India and Isobel for last night and India even came to see us out.

   I booked Sunday lunch for 4 people as on the website it advertised vegetarian option and we were dining with 2 vegetarians however when we arrived we were offered a pea dish or the Sunday lunch just consisting of veg and a Yorkshire pudding , we spent £27 pound on drinks which we should have not been charged for as we could not eat there and 2 people from the party had travelled to get here , disappointed by the lack of interest from the manager who said yeah it’s annoying but happily took money for our drinks Will not return and will not recommend to anyone else

   Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of proper vegetarian food in the small plates. This is the second time I've eaten here and I'll certainly be returning!

   Haven’t dined here for a little while (no reason), but tonight reminded us what a gem this place is. Good food, great beer and excellent service.
