   As visitors to Harrogate, we left it a bit late for booking a place on Valentine's Evening! Reviews were a bit mixed and maybe this wouldn't have been our first choice but we had a very good meal. We were seated straight away in the dining area rather than the pub areas and to be honest the decor was a little bit dated. We chose from the Valentine's menu and what good value it turned out to be - both the starter course and the mains were lovely. My wife had Flat Iron Steak, which we'd never come across before, and she said that it was the best steak she'd ever had. So, would we go back! Definitely!

   The staff were lovely and very attentive. The steak was delicious & cooked as requested. The dirty burger was a little disappointing, burgers not very tasty.

   Food was very good i had pan fried Hake with mussels and lobster sauce 😋 my wife had slow cooked beef 😋 very good value for money i would definitely recommend.

   6 of us celebrating family Birthdays. Attentive staff, nice clean dining area, drinks order was taken on our arrival. Not rushed to select starters and mains, order efficiently taken. The food was well presented, plentiful, with plenty of flavour, I had Gammon on the bone + chips (which were lovely fluffy centred and hot), Our son had a Steak with Peppercorn Sauce which was a good size and he said was delicious, our daughters had Chicken Schnitzel which they said was delicious. We’d certainly recommend eating here, the price was very competitive and I’d say certainly not expensive for all we ate and drank.

    A dog friendly restaurant / bar. Lovely staff, excellent food, superb from start to end. In the centre of Harrogate so perfect for a stop during shopping or after a walk. Looking forward to returning.
