   The Inn at Glen Gardner is a local gem, with seasonal menus and creative cocktails. The staff and owners are friendly and highly attentive. We look forward to coming here multiple times throughout the year, and I highly recommend!

   Always a great meal at the Inn. The pork chop is always moist and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive.

   So we had reservations for four and when asked if the table was ok, I simply asked could we sit by the window which was a little bigger table. Hostess, who happened to be was dressed like a homeless person, said no. We just didn't want to be by the bright lights towards the entrance and where everyone walks. I was like ok no problem and wasn't a big deal b/c I thought a different server may have that table or someone requested that table. Turns out they never seared the table the rest of the night. Just Bizarre and rude. We had a little later time slot and food was amazing as always - but what I don't need while eating is being asked by THREE different staff if we are done eating. If you don't want ppl in there late then don't make he reservation time slot available .......we felt rushed and uncomfortable. Again food amazingly prepared and tasted excellent - but last thing I want is to feel uncomfortable and rushed ....other servers done with their shift change clothes and walk around in god awful pajama outfits - some food runners and Hostess not professionally dressed does make a difference, all while you have servers in nice attire. If you're trying to be the top tier reataraunt, all staff should be dressed accordingly. But the whole table selection which again they never seated anyone rest of night just started the night off wrong. We love the atmosphere and food and will go back - but maybe just let the server ONLY ask if we are done with our dinner. Trying to have a conversation and getting interrupted constantly was not pleasant.

   An outstanding meal at the Inn! Lovely setting, good food, and kind service. Standout was the pear salad. Our one complaint was the portions were too big!

   Haven't been here in many years and wanted to come back for the German food. Was glad they had the pork knuckle (Sauerbraten style) as a special, but I remember them being famous for their traditional Sauerbraten. Meat was tender and the spätzle was great, but lacked any real flavor. I really wanted to try the beef cheek. We also had the halibut with risotto which was not bad (was more in love with the risotto than the halibut). I will say that the appetizers were the star of the show. The Nashville Hot Wings were excellent (very different style than the traditional fried wing) along with the chicken deviled eggs - eggcellent! The fried calamary was tender and fried just right with a nice creamy, touch of heat, dipping sauce. The waitress we had was attentive and eager to keep us happy, which I find lacking at most places these days. Sorry to say that I was not a fan of the drink menu - I am usually very easy to please here. The Mezcal cocktail was just too boozy with too much alcohol in it - it needed balance. The Manhattan didn't sit right after the first drink, but perhaps that was because I was still tasting the Mezcal. A beautiful place, but there is limited parking and if you park on the road, be careful as you have to doge oncoming traffic to get to your car in the dark. Has the potential for a romantic night out if they made a few adjustments.

   The meal was memorable. The pork chop was the best I've ever had. The 3 people I was with all had excellent meals. They said we have to come back again.

    one of the best restaurants around!!!!! 100% . beautiful beautiful building. AMAZING staff. great exquisite food. fun decorations. just can't say enough about this restaurant. go experience it for yourself!!
