The philosophy at the Inn has always been based on quality and good, honest local produce, coupled with a stylish, stripped back atmosphere and attention to detail from a team with vision and passion led by David and Gillian Pinchbeck.

The menu has a strong, seasonal influence, and reflects the best in contemporary British cuisine whilst drawing inspiration from classic dishes around the world. The winter menu includes sautéed chicken livers with black pudding potato cake, buttered spinach, beetroot & bacon crisp, as well as slow cooked Herefordshire lamb shoulder with braised red cabbage, hot pot hash brown, glazed parsnips, and rich lamb cooking liquor. As for the wine list, it's an eclectic collection of well-priced, interesting finds, which hint at the owners’ personal enjoyment of a great bottle.

Love eating here. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I am disabled and I find a lot of restaurant seating is very uncomfortable however the seating here is comfortable which makes for a better dining experience. The food is always lovely with very interesting menu choices ; it’s hard to chose what to have sometimes ! I particularly liked the cavolo nero starter and my husband highly recommends the brioche bread and butter pudding. Always excellent every time

Have been here a few times before, and always seem to come back here for special occasion meals. An interesting menu with something for everyone. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Excellent staff who are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. One thing I personally like is the seating in the dining room is very comfortable. This is important when you are disabled as I am. Shall definitely be visiting again.

Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a lovely meal. Quite busy for a weekday evening and quite noisy with a couple of large, loud groups. Food excellent and plenty of choice.

This was our visit and we were impressed from start to finish.The decor was tasteful and ambience relaxed but buzzy. The food was deliciously cooked and presented.Vegetables were cooked to perfection. We are very excited to have found it
