The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    Went to The Italiano to try @chefjoeymaggiore Italian restaurant. It definitely did not disappoint. The shrimp cocktail was flavorful and different from the regular one with cocktail sauce. The squash blossoms had nice gooey cheese, a little too much mint but still enjoyable. The beet salad was so beautiful in presentation and tasted even better. It needs to be a permanent part of the menu. The ravioli had a perfect chew and the vodka sauce was drinkable it was that delicious. Not pictured is Tomaso’s Tagliatelle with mini veal meatballs that were so light and tender. The veal Marsala was thinly sliced and very tender, the Marsala sauce was thick just like I wanted. The lobster ravioli sauce oh my goodness it tasted like lobster bisque so delicious. The tiramisu was airy and a good way to end the meal. Special thanks to Geno for checking on us and Giovanni for the excellent service.     First time there. So many little details go into the design and presentation of the place, like the gold ring napkin holders. We had the Restaurant Week 5 course dinner with wine pairing. Great place. Great food. Great service. Lively but loud. Pasta course was the only slight disappointment. Vodka sauce lacked any real flavor. Expensive but overall a great experience.

    Friends recommended this wonderful restaurant, and we were not disappointed. What a surprise to have piano music during dinner. Fabulous ambience, including in the bar area. Of course we both had perfectly prepared pasta.

    Great food, people, and service! We went during restaurant week so we were able to have an awesome value for our food! Highly recommend! Stephen was our waiter and he was amazing!
