The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    Honestly I go to Italiano a lot. This time I was disappointed. The waiter was in such a rush and if you’re constantly feeling like you need to hurry then hire someone else! He never sat still long enough and was always gone - we had to flag him down a couple times. Ironically, the food took an hour to come out too! Too bad since I was celebrating my son’s graduation but of course that wasn’t even mentioned. Tell you wait staff to slow down and talk to customers if they are going to make an evening out of their time at your restaurant!

    We absolutely LOVE Italiano!!! Gen is our Favorite server and will Ask for her every time!! We celebrated our anniversary tonight and it went un noticed .. which why ask.. but everything was flawless!!!

    Steve was an excellent wait-person. Very helpful deciding what to order. The food was delicious. Great pasta fagoli and shrimp Parmesan.

    We went to The Italiano for the first time last night and it was SO good! We’ve been looking for a great Italian spot and we’ve officially found it. The food and the staff were both fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

    Chef Joey has done it again!!! This place was amazing. Great staff, great decor, great flow and FANTASTIC FOOD!!! Every bite was amazing. My fiance had the bolognaise and I had the Italiano Mare. Both dishes were so full, we had to take home leftovers. We started with the grilled octopus and that was stellar too. The staff was so friendly and made suggestions based off of their likes and not just off of highest priced items. The restaurant is beautiful inside with lots of light, art and decor that really feels like a top notch restaurant. I cannot wait to go back and try the charcuterie cart!!

    Excellent service! The waiter Nate was great! Only issue I have is the portion size on the Lobster ravioli. It was 5 ravioli and that’s it. For $34 that is all you get, 5 ravioli in some sauce. Won’t be ordering that again. Tasted good but nothing special.
