   Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food. Second visit as we have to travel up from Swansea. But would definitely recommend to family & friends.

   We sat downstairs by the door after a long wait to be seated despite having a reservation. It was cold in this area so was uncomfortable the whole meal as they couldn’t move us. From the start our sever unfortunately misheard our orders so food and drink kept on being returned. The team nicely recovered the service mistakes but it was a shame as we were trying to celebrate Christmas with our mum. Anyway, food was delicious and the setting was nice. Not sure I would rush back.

   Entry to restaurant was difficult as staff could not cope with coats and outer garments of arriving patrons. Result was clients queuing outside in storm conditions awaiting entry to premises, Service was fair but three separate attempts at ordering water for the table proved unsuccessful. Alcoholic drinks were vastly overpriced.

   Superb evening, we sat at the bar and it was brilliant barman was brilliant (Tom I believe)

    Food and afternoon itself was lovely. Service was particularly slow. Took 25 minutes from coming for drinks orders to be taken. Took another 20 minutes for the drinks. Staff were unsure of what drinks were included. The table itself was small and probably would have been better if we were sat at a booth. They forgot the occasion of my mums birthday which was put in the booking and called through beforehand. The waiters didn’t actively clear the table of drinks to allow space for some more. Overall lovely afternoon tea but bad vibe. Probably wouldn’t go again.
