The service was great, our waitress was extremely attentive and the food came out perfectly timed. The tossed Asian salad was fantastic, and the food overall was very good. We had a window table with a beautiful view of tower bridge. Knocked off a star because the mushroom truffle linguine didn’t seem to have any truffle inside but overall the food was great! It is on the expensive side but for the presentation, ambience and experience, it’s worth it!

Fabulous. We had a great table looking out at Tower Bridge for my husbands birthday. Service, antmosphere and foods first class. Highly recommended.

Impressive waiting staff, good humoured and very attentive to our needs. Food was delicious but I do feel the sirloin cut was quite small and also generally cooked under. Beautiful surroundings and a great table. Lovely family memories made thanks to The Ivy

Steak was delivered medium rare but was ordered as well done. We were also charged for two extra sides that we didn’t order and only realised after paying. This was a shame as previous visit was very good

Fish and chips we ordered was not fresh, more like a frozen supermarket version. All dishes very small portions.

When I booked I specifically mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday. Ten minutes after we ordered the food was in the table. I don’t like mushy peas so asked if they could be substituted. Said I could have spinach but would have to pay extra. As we finished our meal, we were asked for our desserts. I wanted to wait but less than ten minutes later, she came over and asked again and then proceeded to tell me we only have the table for one hour thirty minutes. When I booked I was told two hours. She made a face. All the tables surrounding us had crackers except for us and when I enquired about this was told it was only if ordered festive meal. I told her it was my husband ‘s birthday; she went away and came back and said there was no record. I had confirmation on my phone. She then brought over a large profiterole with a candle. Said nothing and walked away. I was very disappointed.
