   We got in and were seated immediately. After taking a look over the menu, it was hard to decide since everything sounded so good. We ended up getting the jimmy chopped salad, smoked octopus, rigatoni, cavatelli nero, pumpkin pie, and chocolate gateaux. The best was the octopus, salad, and chocolate gateaux. The pasta’s were perfectly al dente and seasoned well!

   We really enjoyed The Jimmy. The only complaint would be the parking which is not something you can do much about.

   We sat outside on a beautiful fall night. The ceiling heaters kept us warm. We started off with the smoked octopus and potatoes, olives and The Jimmy salad. They were delicious! We enjoyed an assortment of entrees that were amazing. Overall, we felt everything was so good and the service was fantastic!

   I can’t quite remember our servers name but he was a younger kid with curly black hair. He said we were one of his first serving shifts at the restaurant and he was phenomenal!!! He comped our order of beignets because we found something in our drink and even got us an order of tiramisu on the house. He was so sweet, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10

   Our server Hadley was terrific! Our food was fabulously delicious. I had the Jimmy’s chopped salad with salmon. It was so good. I almost ate the whole thing even though it was quite large. I’m saving the rest for my lunch tomorrow! Ha!

    We always enjoy ourselves at the Jimmy. Solid menu, nice wine selection, friendly people. We kept it simple this time with a shared green salad and a couple of pastas, and a bottle of wine. The tagliatelle with mushrooms is a consistent winner. The linguini with shrimp was not exactly what we anticipated - instead, it had an excessively spicy red sauce that covered up any hint of the advertised mint or the tomatoes. This just needs to be toned down a notch, and it will be a winner. If I have a broad observation, it would be that everything we had on this trip was extremely salty. This is not unique to The Jimmy - it is an issue at a lot of restaurants. Use of quality ingredients combined creatively should not necessitate such a liberal use of sodium. Please let your chefs hear this. Highlight of our dinner was a lovely red Sangiovese from Tre Monte in Romagna. The unique choice of wines from beyond the usual suspects remains a strength of this restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.
