    Superb pub . Been coming here for years when down on holiday . Great main courses . And beer selection as well as gin is superb . I was the only one having dessert and I would say that was the only thing I would fault as it was underwhelming ( I had the Eton mess brûlée ) . But service is great , staff are lovely . So I always will like coming back .

    First time visit and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Dog friendly which meant the dogs came too, always a bonus.

    We were initially in the main dining room, but almost all the rest of it was taken up with a huge group so we asked to be moved to the bar, which was much better. I was very disappointed with the menu which had been changed the previous day. I have been the the Joiners many times before and the menu has been great but now all the classics have gone and have been replaced by over fancy dishes. I will definitely double check the menu before I visit again, there are plenty of other good pubs in the area with much better menus.

    A lovely dog friendly setting tucked away from the crowds, and beautifully position for a walk on the beach after. The steak and ale pie is thoroughly recommended.

    At least two items from the menu were unavailable The fish and chips were poor - chips bland, batter on the fish was overpowering and could have been cooked better Staff are lovely, good service but overworked

    Couldn’t ask for more. Gorgeous venue, fantastic service and even better food. Visited joiners arms during a stay to nearby garden rooms and had evening meal and breakfast here and were blown away, food was delicious and more than worth the money. Staff attentive and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back x

    We had a two night stay at Newton Hall so booked the Joiner’s Arms for our second night,a lovely little pub with good staff,the lad behind the bar was friendly and knew his products!! (New popular beer) A few dishes were not available on the menu but that can’t be helped. Overall a lovely place 😃
