    10/10 experience. Our server was fantastic, the food and wine both superb and we had a lovely 2 seater table in the corner.

    New Year’s Eve dinner at The Keg with two other couples. Service wasn’t bad. Two steaks were mixed up - a medium well and well done. They were two different cuts otherwise it would have been an easy swap. It’s a lot of money to spend for your steak not cooked as requested. We did advise our server of the issue. One steak was comp’d but not the other one. Our table was ready earlier than our reservation and that was a nice surprise.

    It was good but not great. Gone downhill from when I lived in Halifax. Food was ok but more like a longhorn steakhouse than a Morton’s or Ruth Chris. For the money I won’t be back. Definitely better value out there.

    Always delicious. Would always recommend. We had the filet minion , Caesar salad and of course the Billy Milner pie, always save room for that. Husband also enjoyed his chocolate martini.

    We dined on Dec.30 and it seemed very busy. My family was seated in the bar section so there were a lot of televisions on and servers coming to get drinks constantly. Our reservation was for 6:15 but we didn’t end up getting our mains for over an hour. The steak and vegetables were dry and the appetizer was as well. My baked potatoe was complete mush. Maybe too long under a heat lamp? Disappointing meal for sure. The server tried her best but it was clear that she was very busy.

    The waitress was fabulous. The manager/supervisor was great. We had no issues however she just came and chatted with us. A fabulous experience

    We visited The Keg in Halifax as part of our 5th Anniversary trip. Delicious food, absolutely everything was so good!! Service was really, really good! Atmosphere cozy and romantic. We really enjoyed our trip and the added touch of dessert on the house. It was my partner's first time inside a Keg, we enjoyed ourselves!!
