   The Sherwood Park Keg was an excellent dining experience. The food was very good and the atmosphere was very good. Our waitress was very good. I would highly recommend dining at this Keg!

   Ordered Prime Rib. Excellent cut of meat done perfectly, medium rare. That's where all the good stuff stops. Meat was LUKEWARM, curly onion rings on top....COLD, Mashed potatoes LUKEWARM. Manager returned my plate to the kitchen and guess what came back the same way.....LUKEWARM. Manager apologized and gave us a price reduction BUT it put a big downer on our Anniversary night out. So if you want your food HOT on a cold winters night maybe the Sherwood Park Keg is not the spot to go to. I think it was because the food got put on COLD plates. We had a side of Mac and Cheese in a cast fry pan came out hot and stayed that way.

   We had a reservation but it seemed like they were confused at the desk & gave us a notification buzzer to wait. Then I received a call from the keg on my cell phone about 10-15 minutes after the reservation asking if we were still showing up. The overall service from the servers was good. I rested the Kansas city steak & it was the toughest steak i’ve ever had there & had a lot of grizzle. I will say this is the first bad experience I have ever had there in at least 20 visits

   our waitress went beyond to check on us. I mentioned to my wife how great she was. It was my wifes birthday so we take each other out on our birthdays at our age we dont need gifts. If the service and food is subpar it makes for a lousy gift. Pauline(wife) mentioned several times how she enjoyed the night. I enjoyed the ice cream cake that was givin to us at the end, Thank you!

   Food was great. Server kept rushing my friend to order not giving her much time to decide with multiple quick visits to the table. We were all going to have dessert. As soon as we finished our meal, the server kept visiting our table trying to rush us to have dessert. I said we were not ready yet. Then server said another party had a reservation for our table & they had to move elsewhere. I said I didn’t know there was a time limit on our dinner & mentioned that I still had a third of a glass of wine in which I only had one glass. We weren’t even at the restaurant for two hours. I finished my wine & we left not ordering dessert. I was at the keg two weeks earlier had great service & food. I have never had a bad experience there. This server visited our table about 20 times rushing us to leave so she could make more money. I don’t get to see the friends I was with often to catch up. The servers constant interruptions rushing us made for an unpleasant evening out.

    As always good food and a good experience . If you go here expect to pay a little more but it’s worth it. Our server, Crystal, was very patient with my wife’s requests.
