We had a great table outside facing the water. Our waiter Josh was excellent and the food was excellent as well. We will definitely be back with our out of town guests.

Dargan our waiter was amazing. He was so attentive and spot on with his recommendations. We literally were blown away with every dish. The grouper is to die for!!! Highly recommend.

Hadn’t tried Kingstide, this was our first visit. Most importantly, the service we got from Zoey was excellent! She’s the reason I went 5 stars overall vs 4. The food we ordered was certainly very good although we didn’t order too much and cannot comment on any entrees. We’d go back for sure. The view is incredible as well.

Quality of courses has dropped significantly in the past year or more. Oysters would have been better without shell pieces in oyster meat and the meat being scrambled with the oyster knife when they were shucked. Ceviche appetizer was the most unappetizing, with nickel size chunks of fish and long slivers (1.5”-2”) of pickled red onion. This was served with corn chips which made the size difference of ceviche and chip ratio difficult to eat. Meat looked like it had been cut with a dull knife. Lobster pasta was very good, sauce was excellent, not a lot of lobster but enough for a small meal. Probably a little overpriced for what you get, but the flavor was good. Thankfully, Charleston has soo many great restaurants to choose from that we can wait on Kingstide to get back to their original standards of presentation and great quality food.

I am so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your recent visit with us. We try to provide the best, freshest, and local ingredients to the low country featured on our menus. The oysters are rotating and change almost daily. I am so sorry your oysters had shells in them, I wish we would have known on your visit we could have just shucked a few more for you! The ceviche is usually a fan favorite; I am so sorry we seem to have fallen short on your visit here with us. The lobster pasta is a new add, with fresh lobsters coming in, chef breaking them down for their meat the for the lobster pasta sauce, which I too think is excellent.
