   I don’t know if there is a new owner or not but I was shocked at how bad this place has become. I have been here numerous times in the past and the food was always excellent. This time the food and the ambience were atrocious. I ordered a $75 dollar medium rare steak that was supposed to be wagyu - it probably wasn’t but still it shouldn’t have came out over cooked and tasteless. The large dining room was sparsely decorated and looked like a high school cafeteria. I was very disappointed to say the least.

   Cult cooked. This restaurant great place to celebrate any occasion. The chef is very versatile and talented. Everything we ordered was very fresh and the flavors were refreshingly different. Our waiter was very professional yet showed a lot of personality. He made great meal recommendations.

   Beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay. Top notch service with delicious food. Great for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to a great restaurant.

   Fabulous restaurant any time of the year. The food, service, and ambiance are outstanding. The restaurant was decorated for the holiday season and was gorgeous, and a gentleman was playing the piano during the dinner hour. I highly recommend The Lakehouse!

   Excellent Food Brian our server was excellent. He selected the best meals for us. All was delicious 😋.     My friend and I meet here twice a year to celebrate our birthdays as it's equidistant from our homes west and east of there. The clam chowder with mushrooms was delicious, as was the Parisian salad - both of which I ordered. My friend ordered the vegetable soup terrine and a hamburger with fries. The only complaint was the burger was not medium rare as she had ordered it, but medium. She only ate 1/2 of it. The french fries here are out of this world delicious. We only enjoyed coffee as our dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, just enough attention paid to us, and food arrived quickly.
