   The food was really good . However felt it lacked on service . We were out celebrating the fact that my cancer results were stable as I have Terminal cancer this is a massive thing to celebrate. The service received was very lack luster. Didn't feel looked after by the staff at all. Spending that amount of money you would expect some sort of service. We were told to clear the table ourselves. My husband ordered another drink that never arrived. The table wasn't cleaned. No check-back. It felt like rushed service. I have had much better service in a fast food store to be honest. Not really impressed 😕

   Fantastic food as always in The Longstore but absolutely gutted the Xmas Turkey Dish has been taken off the menu. :( We always have the xmas dinner this time of year and we absolutely love it!!! Please bring it back for 2025!!!

   It was my first experience of the eagerly anticipated roast. I was disappointed that the lamb wasn't available, and that some of the food/sauces were way to salty for my liking. However, the staff, the presentation & everything else was very good.

   Fantastic meal in a lovely restaurant, it was loud but it was Christmas and a number of groups were having Christmas meals, however it did not spoil our meal.

   Quality venue with quality food. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Service could have been a little quicker would be the only thing we would call out but other than that it was lovely.

   Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. Service was quite slow and no explanation given as to why our mains were taking so long. A mistake was made with my meal. I had ordered a gluten free meal and made it clear how important this was. The person taking the order said she would make it clear to the chef. However, my meal arrived covered in soy sauce and when I asked if this could be checked to make sure they had used GF soy, the waitress came back and said that unfortunately it was not GF and they would have to prepare me a new dish. We were told this would take about 7 minutes but it was much longer. The other three people had all finished their meals before mine arrived so I had to eat on my own. This is not a good dining experience. It is also worrying to be assured that my meal would be gluten free and then to be given a meal containing gluten. Had I not asked them to check if it was GF soy when the meal arrived, I would have been very ill. My meal was taken off the bill and they were very apologetic.

    We went here this evening for my 40th birthday- no only was it beautiful, the food was outstanding! Everything we ordered was excellent. Our waitress, Lucy, was a complete sweetheart and was so on the ball. Amazing amazing amazing! Thank you so much x
