My family and I had an unforgettable Christmas dinner at The Luke. The candlelit atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. Chef Vincent greeted guests, described dishes, and even created additional vegetarian options for a guest at our table. Every dish was inventive, fresh, and delicious. Our server, Iris, took excellent care of us and helped create a truly memorable experience. From the Prosecco toasts on arrival to the flawless execution of the menu, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time. As a hospitality professional myself, this evening reminded me how impactful a dining experience can be when great people thoughtfully execute every detail. I’m truly looking forward to dining at The Luke again!

We had the most magical evening at Luke’s on Christmas Eve. Tables hadn’t turned when we arrived, but the chef sent us Prosecco while we waited then offered to set us up at a table in the bar. Felt almost like private dining. The bartender filled in beautifully and the food was exquisite. We had so much fun trying so many different dishes that time slipped away. The evening ended with the chef giving our daughter a Christmas present (one for each table). We will definitely go back!

We arrived to our reservation to an empty host station. We were greeted a few minutes later with a complimentary glass of champagne. After that…we waited 10 mins before we were ushered to our table. The menu was separated into a few “courses” with each option ranging from $16-$80. Staff recommends that each course is for 2 people and that we order 2-3 items and entree. The food was almost amazing but came up short on every dish. We had scallop for the first dish. Perfectly cooked and great textures but incredibly rich for the first course. The entire dish was velvety and buttery but lacked seasoning. Next was the burrata. Again…well cooked and great use of texture. Unfortunately without guidance from the waitstaff, we were unsure if the accompanying blackberries were part of the dish or simply garnish. We decided it was garnish after crunching on blackberry seeds. Finally we ended up with the aged new york strip. Very well cooked and very juicy with a nice sear. Again, this lacked any discernrible seasoning. This dish was served with three ramicans. Without any direction from staff we believed these were sauces or condiments to be poured on top of the steak. Later we found that one was a parsnip mousseline and one was simply a boiled potato in a cream base. The mousseline was tasty and unexpected on its own (not great on top of the steak). The potato was tasteless and was the absolute biggest disappointment of the evening. We ended the meal with some complimentary desserts that included a lemon sorbet and some macrons. Each was flavorful and refreshing. Bottom line here was: The place is on the verge of being great. Great ambiance but inexperienced waitstaff. Each dish missed a key component, holding it back and making it overpriced for the experience. 2 people, 2 drinks, 3 selections $225 including tip.

We were happily surprised by the quality of the food. It was superb. I still remember the flavor of the yellow fin tuna with brown butter! Next time, we will do the chefs tasting with wine. Beautiful space, amazing food and very cool atmosphere!

We have been to this location several times, for several different good restaurants. We love the walls, the tiles on the floors, the ornamental ceilings. What set The Luke apart was the logic of the menu (everything shared among those at the table) and the food. We've enjoyed good food by others there before. But I don't remember spending a meal out just chewing and slowly tasting everything thoughtfully.
