   Awesome food! One of our favourite restaurants! Appetizer of soft shell crab, deserts at the end with delicious entrees to share!

   The food and staff are amazing. My only comment would be that I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a hour limit at lunch

   Mildly chaotic lunch service. Received someone else’s order for our specials so different noodles in each bowl and missing some advertised ingredients. The service staff apologized and brought the missing ingredients separately. Food was delicious.

   Not a great start to our first experience at the Lunch Lady when the server told us we had our table for an hour. I've never heard this before, a time limit on a meal (though I understand you don't want people spending 3 hours at a table but there must be a more cordial/charming way of putting this in the rare occasion people overstay their welcome). Drinks were late (we were half way through our mains and we had ordered the simplest of drinks: coffee and a beer) but they were comped without any request from us, which was very nice. Food was fine but not worth the noise level and the tables felt cramped. Happy to have tried but likely won't be back.

   Great food & wonderful staff. Tried out several appetizers and main dishes. Loved the soft shelled crab and the octopus skewers especially. The Wagyu pho is so tasty as well, with tender meat and flavourful broth.

   We came here for Friday lunch and got to try their Friday specials. We ordered the pork spring rolls, the bún bò huê, the bò né, a Vietnamese iced coffee and a Vietnamese iced egg coffee. Everything was really delicious! We try to come for lunch on weekdays when we can to try their daily specials. Our waitress, Ellie, was super efficient and friendly; she’s helped us before and made some more great recommendations. This is definitely one of our favourite spots for both lunch and dinner. We look forward to coming back soon!

    The soft shell crab was excellent, and the service was also quite good. However, I would not recommend the garlic noodles—they were very plain, lacked any meat or seafood, and were overly oily. At over $22 plus GST and tips, they were definitely not worth the price; I’d say they’re worth $3 at most.
