   We are locals and the Madrona is our favorite restaurant in Healdsburg. We love to bring visiting friends or meet up with neighbors for dinner and drinks. The staff is wonderful and always go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food is seasonal, locally sourced (often from the property's garden) and consistantly delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and not noisy.

   Had a fantastic dining experience. We reserved a table in the dining room but realized the small corner table in the bar was a better fit. Enjoyed the edamame appetizer with fresh baked bread, it was unbelievable. The lamb gnocchi was absolutely delicious, perfect portion, fresh and cooked to perfection. I will return to this hidden gem again soon!

   We love this hotel and restaurant. The cocktails are excellent, the food is great and has interesting and inventive things on the menu prepared with thought and seasonality in mind. They were also so kind to us once when passing through we needed a late meal after a hospital visit. And another time we’re very accommodating with our toddler and newborn. This is very much an elegant adult environment so it’s unusual for them to also be so friendly and family oriented.

   We went up for the High Tea service, which was fun. Service was nice, food was god, tea was good, we did add the additional "Cocktail Pot" -- our choice for that was the Fennel Collins which was fantastic. High tea was served in the side front parlor at small tables for 2, or a low couch for a bit larger party. (I think High Tea is also offered on the front porch--but it was too cold for that at this time.) 3 tiers of savory sandwiches on the bottom, desserts, middle, and miniature scones and cream on the top. Fun.

   The Madrona was a lovely experience. The setting is beautiful and worthy of a special occasion. Service was impeccable and our food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

   Great black rice, burger (but fries were not hot) and gnocchi with lamb. Even greater hot bread and edamame sauce (got another serving). Strange cauliflower tempura - all rolled into a roll and bready.

   No one came to our table for 15 minutes. Had to ask the busboy to get our server. The benches are too low for the tables. The center post is uncomfortable. The noise level was too loud, both people talking and the loud music. Our entrees were delicious. But we were disappointed
