   We had an excellent dinner here to celebrate a birthday. Great service, and our server was very helpful and conscious of one of our party's need for dairy free food. Food was superb from start to finish. Good wine selection by the glass and great cocktails. Ambience was very unique, and having post-dinner tea and espresso next to the fireplace in the lounge area was a real treat. Can't wait to come back!

   We had a wonderful dinner and our server and everyone on the staff was exemplary. We had not been in almost 20 years and we were really pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was and the new remodeled ambience truly inspired.

   What a gorgeous renovation this grand old Victorian lady got-incredible blend of historical architecture and antiques coupled with fun, high end design. Staff just superb-from the manager to the "bus boy"-classy and friendly. But the food-oh, the food! Sort of Thomas Kellerian-sourcing just the absolute best and simple meats and produce that are melded into something far beyond the simple sum of the ingredients. The only blip on our perfect evening was that some dingbat brought a young child with her; their table was adjacent and even though the child was not terrible, she was obviously bored and tired. Ambiance got a lot better when they departed. Maybe a "no one younger than 12" rule in such a high end restaurant would be in order? Or perhaps we're just getting old and crotchety!

   Service and ambiance was nice but the food was incredibly disappointing for the price. Not a quality meal and not one I would recommend.

   A wonderful lunch on the veranda at Madrona. Very good food and a sweet server. We will be back to spend 3-4 days at the manor.

   Lunch on the terrace is a magical place - still cosy during a sudden downpour! Salad from their garden is what salad should be.

   Our birthday brunch at the Madrona was absolutely perfect. The menu has diverse offerings to please everyone and the cocktails are delightful. The palm terrace is so charming and the staff works tirelessly to ensure a top notch experience. Can’t wait to return!

    Excellent experience. Our reservation was at 7:30, arrived at 7 hoping to be able to see some of the grounds as had been recommended. Just too dark. They were able to seat us early on the veranda. Seating was lovely although it was a bit loud and tables close together. Not a complaint but an observation. The bread service was great. Salads were fine. The steak was outstanding, doesn’t come out as a full strip but was a great portion for me. No room for dessert but looked wonderful. Servers were attentive. Really great experience
