   It is a highly overpriced meal for the quantity and taste. The chicken entrees are in the $40 range. Drinks are at NYC prices. Atmosphere looks more corporate like rather than fine dining.

   Thank you for your feedback. At Maurya’s, our pricing reflects the premium quality and care in every dish. We use high-quality ingredients like Morel mushrooms ($30 an ounce), wild shiitake mushrooms, and olive oil exclusively—never vegetable oil, food coloring, or additives. Our sauces are made with fresh tomatoes, not canned, ensuring authentic flavors. We also take a mindful approach to spices, using red chili powder in only two dishes (Lamb Shank and Chicken Vindaloo) and opting for mild Kashmiri chili. The flavors come from fresh green chilies and balanced spices, making our dishes gentle on the palate. Maurya’s offers elevated Indian cuisine, crafted by one of India’s top chefs.    Upscale Indian food. Very tasty. Staff supplied a delicious birthday dessert and accommodated a young child at our table. We will be back soon.

   This was our first experience a Mauryas - they opened 7 months ago, but we hadn't heard about it. The staff went above and beyond to set up a table for us to be in the main dining room, provided extras that were not on the bill like preappetizers , prosecco and a birthday dessert. The food was incredibly good - we ordered off the Elevated Indian menu. They are able to accomodate parties of two, five, or up to 12-15! They also have an upstairs private dining/reception area, and a second dining roo which could be private or not. The service was overall exceptional. It is a short drive from Princeton center to the Forrestal Village where Mauyas is located - and parking is easy and free!

   The food and service were excellent. Very interesting choices and preparations. Would recommend the Indian risotto. The welcome drink and the rice chips were a great start.

   Great dinner experience. Kind and helpful staff. Great bartender. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and extremely good. I love the amount of choices though we ate mostly Indian food. I highly recommend Mauryas!

   Had a great experience, great courteous service, great ambiance and delicious unique ensemble of food. The waiters and waitresses were attentive, friendly and courteous, food took some time but was worth the wait. The only thing that they need to improve is their drinks, specially cocktails, if you are charging $18-20 for a cocktails, you really need a good bartender who knows how to make those. The cocktails are a big let down and really a waste of money. That’s the only drawback that needs improvement, rest are great.

    It’s really expensive what you get . Entree $35 chicken no rice on the side you have to pay $6 for rice and $6 for Naan . 20% tip is mandatory even your table is 2 people .food is good but not great .service was fair .
