   Was underwhelmed by dinner at Meena House. While the service was attentive and the space was pleasant, my food was bland, lukewarm, and expensive. I paid $80+ USD/500+ TT for a main course (lamb korma), naan, water, and dessert. Unfortunately, the taste of the food did not live up to the high price and I cannot recommend to others. I had limited time during my visit to Trinidad and I regret having eaten here.

   The service was GREAT from the moment I approached the restaurant. There was someone outside anticipating our arrival, guided us for parking, ushered us into the restaurant and from there everything else was just as smooth. The food was served hot (very overwhelming if you’re not accustomed to authentic cuisine) and full of flavor. Their wine selection is great as well! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience their service.

   The wine n dine menu was so good. However, the wait time was just too long. We were starving and had to wait over an hour to get food and more than 20 minutes for drinks. That's not reasonable at lunchtime on a weekday.

   The ambience of the place and food was great. However, the host(male) who received and serve us was not hospitable we waited a long period to receive our menus, while customers who came after us we given the menus right away. The music was great and so was the parking attendant.

   This was my first time visiting The Meena House and it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and I will definitely be back!

   The welcome and the service were warm and attentive yet discreet. The aromas from the kitchen were tantalizing but not overpowering. Wine list extensive. Every item we ordered from the robust menu included perfectly seasoned (tasty, savory, but never overwhelming) mouthwatering dishes. We were satiated and delighted to have had this experience. Dinner included the Tandoori Nawaozish appetizer to share and our entrees included lamb shank cooked in a clay pot, a delectable sea bass and Shrimp Udaipuri with savory steamed rice and naan. Our sides dishes of pepper mushrooms and Goan Brussel sprouts were also on the money. SUMMARY: Don’t visit Trinidad without experiencing Meena’s House!!

    Our server helped us choose menus and alcohol pairing for the most amazing evening. Had a blast. Definitely a special evening.
