The Milling Room features seasonal New French-American cuisine, served in a sky-lit dining room and lively tavern-inspired bar in the heart of the Upper West Side.

We are accepting reservations for the Main Dining Room. Our Tavern welcomes you for walk-ins.

Our hours of operation for dinner are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm, and Friday and Saturday 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

We serve Brunch Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am - 3:30 pm

We have a 15-minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 10 minutes after your reservation time otherwise, we will release your table.

For larger parties, 6+ we require a credit card to hold the reservation due to limited availability. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation time or no-shows will be charged a $35 per person cancellation fee.

The setting is beautiful and the service was truly terrific. However, the food was mediocre for both me and my guest-- and very expensive given the quality.

Yummy food and great cocktails. Everything we tasted was good. Service was excellent. It was a bit weird two things were out already even though it was just 6pm. Prices kinda steep but the vibe was excellent so I’m just glad my company paid 😅 will return with the in-laws, who I’m sure will be impressed.

Nice room, but there was a problem with the heating when we came. The place was almost empty and so it was dull. The food was just OK .

Great ambiance. Great location. The decor could be elevated in my honest opinion but it's nice nonetheless. I understand Valentine's day prices but i think the ingredients of the food was too expensive for what it is. Lamb was great, Calling Banana (drink) was refreshing, so was the caipirinha, and the floating island (dessert) was a great finish.

Food was not good and left hungry as the servings were very small. Quality of the food did not match the price point. Service was incredibly slow. I do not recommend!

Lovely room with high ceilings and a barn-like feel. I ordered the branzino and it was to die for. Excellent service as well. A lovely choice for the Upper West Side. We'll be back!

Great brunch spot! I highly recommend! Service was great, barely knew they were there, yet everything was taken care of. Food was really nice too! Will return again soon!
