   Friendly greeting on arrival. Efficient service throughout. Excellent freshly cooked and well presented food. Good choice of dishes for each course on the menu. Good choice of wine, beers and hot drinks available Vegan and vegetarian dishes available . Very enjoyable afternoon meal out with friends.

   Lovely restaurant. Food delicious. Portions good. Just service a bit slow but that did notvdpoil our evening. We were well looked after.

   The team were fantastic, the service wasn’t rushed and it was a lovely atmosphere. The food was phenomenal, a real gem of a pub restaurant and a must visit!

   Delicious food as always, very pleasant staff as always, even though it was very busy we didn’t have to wait long for our meal. Fab restaurant can’t recommend enough 🥰🥰

   Staff were welcoming and provided very good service throughout. Food choice was good and the standard was great - good sized portions, nice presentation and quality was excellant.

   We had a table for 9 for my mum's birthday (5 children 4 adults). They made the necessary changes to the 3 children's roasts as requested which was great. I had the butternut squash curry as had had it before and it did not disappoint. Roast dinners were all lovely, just my daughter found the beef to tough to eat and one adult found the broccoli to hard but overall the food was great. The service was a bit lacking. Overall very friendly and polite but didn't check if we needed drinks etc so felt like we were having to ask all the time for a drinks top up or anything extra that was needed e.g sauces, different cutlery, paying the bill. One waiter looked like he would rather be anywhere else other than there as he brought out our food. Just a little bit of a smile or to pretend to be a bit happier would have been nice. I think to get 5 stars from me the service would need to improve as it wasn't a full sitting and there were several members of staff

    Food as always was so good. Good portion sizes and very tasty, fresh and hot. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful.
