   Overall great. However, my fish and chips literally had about 10 chips. I should have complained and it would have been resolved but I didn’t, alas here we are! Great for kids/family.

   It was very loud in the dining room, it took quite some time to order and although the pork tasted pretty good the meal looked very basic . We were there at 7:15 and they’d run out of steak, disappointing !

   We haven’t been to the Morning Star for a very long time. We dined last night. It was just wonderful. Service and meals were great! Great Wine list and independent craft beers. Read Octobers Broadsheet article. Im delighted there has been a lot of love and care given to keep this amazing building and its history. Well done. We’ll be back.

   So accommodating as we wanted an umbrella brought over. Also so helpful with our younger ones seating. Third time in 2 months Recommend this venue that fits your needs - couples groups and families with children. Nice evolution. Have been coming to this place for over 30 years enjoying the owners of the time in their take of hospitality.

   The pork was very dry and stringy. My partner refused to complain but in hindsight we should have said something. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable night Cheers

    It’s a great place to go with kids who can play outside. Unfortunately it was a bit drizzly and we were given a table for 7 with one umbrella. It really needed two to stay dry. The staff were helpful in providing a towel for us to use on the chairs. I was delighted that the cocktails included Hugos. Food was pleasant.
