WELCOME TO THE MULE.

We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of Cambridge's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

    The food and beverages were excellent. We initially felt a bit rushed by the server, but as the restaurant cleared out they moved us to a comfortable table and we were able to enjoy a relaxing experience. The waitstaff was friendly and responsive. We look forward to good mg back!

    Staff and service fantastic. The feel and mood great. Tacos at price point I question. Very limited menu but knowing that going in no complaints.

    First time at The Mule - Cambridge. Very glad we gave this restaurant a try. The location and ambience are wonderful. It was a cold evening with a little snow and we felt warm and comfortable in the restaurant. We had guacamole, several different kinds of tacos, beverages and dessert. Everything was excellent. Particularly liked the blackened fish, sweet potato and halloumi, crispy broccoli, achiote chicken and cease and desist tacos. We shared desserts. The key lime cheesecake and churros were so good. All gluten-free! Servers were thoughtful, warm, friendly and very skilled. Thank you from all of us for an excellent evening.

    Food was great. The WAP margarita was excellent. Our server was outstanding. Super attentive and kind. We have never had a bad experience there.

    Another great visit to The Mule Cambridge! This was our first time trying brunch there & it was fantastic. We tried the El Benny, Brunch Bravas & Salted Caramel pancakes - all 5/5 delish! As a celiac it was so exciting to be able to have brunch out with everything on the menu gluten free & safe to eat. Service was terrific too. Thanks Mule Cambridge - we'll be back for brunch again soon!
