WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of London's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From Baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

Tickets are $25 per person and include admission to the Bourbon and Bites event, a sample from each of our Bourbon stations and a chef-inspired food pairing. Additional drink tickets and full menu also available for additional cost.

    Once again another great visit to the mule! Ali ( one of our favs) was so attentive and always checking in… giving us the time to chat between ordering. Tacos are sooooo good. Riviera girl is a go to always!

    Fellow celiacs with a Mexican craving! GF kitchen, so you can order anything on the food menu. As both myself and my husband are celiac, and I can't tell you how nice it is to have a broad choice of menu items. This is a solid business producing great food with friendly and professional staff. I worked in Food and Bevearage for over 2 decades, so please know the accolades are coming from an educated place. Will definitely visit when I come through London again. Go here and give them your money.

    The restaurant was packed so it’s understandable service took longer. We waited 45 mins for dessert and then had to get it to go so we wouldn’t miss the show so that was unfortunate. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The calamari was delicious as a Pre-Taco. The tacos were excellent as were the drinks. Ate the chocolate mousse dessert with dulce du leche at home and I’d go back just for that.

    The ambience was very fun. The tacos were uniquely delicious and we appreciated the gluten free environment. Our server had such positive energy and was knowledgeable and attentive. Food service was extremely fast. The 25% discount on food when dining the day of a Grand Theatre performance was a huge added bonus. We will definitely be going back.

    I always love eating here. My fiance has celiac disease, and this is our favourite place to go. I always try their new menu items, and they're very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.

    As usual the service and food at the Mule was top notch. Tacos are excellent and come quickly and are still hot. Their house beer is great. If you like Mexican try this restaurant.
