   The decor is beautiful, gives a cosy atmosphere. Service was a little slow as it was a Saturday night and very busy but the staff were outstanding, super friendly and very professional. The food was excellent, some of the best we’ve tasted in a long time. Can throughly recommend the beef and Guiness stew, vegetarian curry, chicken curry and the snapper. We had requested the bar seating area but as a party of 6 were put in the side room which we were very happy with as it was quiet and suited us. If you want more buzz you should ask to sit in the bar area and the restaurant if you’re a couple or a small party. Will be back soon as it was a fantastic evening overall

   First time trying the murray arms. Booking is required especially on a Saturday night. Food was good quality, alongside normal menu also had specials. Lovely atmosphere. Would visit again.

   The Murray arms doesn’t disappoint . Service was very wondeful from start to finish . Food was amazing and served with no issues of our few requests to amend a few ingredients to suit our taste . Very accommodating to dietary needs . My husband initially passed comment on preferring the previous menu and wasn’t too keen on this one ,as does miss the basket food option , and does hope they may be added back in at some point ,however by the end of the meal he was won over . The very best curry he has had at a restaurant he has stated and will definitely be back . My prawns and duck were cooked to perfection and as always your made to feel welcome by owners and staff. One of my favourite places to dine in town 5⭐️ Would highly recommend .

   Came here for Valentine’s day with my partner, our table wasn’t ready when we got there so had to wait a few minutes. Service was a bit slow throughout our time there however the food was amazing and the waitresses were all lovely. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor is really nice. Couldn’t really fault the place would definitely recommend

   A totally enjoyable experience from being met at the entrance door to saying goodby, until the next time. Duncan and his entire staff were professional and ultra friendly and went about their work in a pleasant jovial manner with expert advice being given on the menu. The food was perfect with a blend of flavours which totally enhanced each dish. We left after a very enjoyable evening with the bonus of meeting some lovely happy fellow diners. Well done to all at the Murray Arms.

   Had a lovely meal and drinks tonight. Food was delicious, cocktails were really good and the service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. Lovely hotel and restaurant, would highly recommend visiting!

   The place is beautiful and the food was really good as was the service. It would have been better to have had the bread before our meal instead of at the same time ( it therefore wasn’t eaten) The problem was that we couldn’t have a conversation while we ate as there was live music on in the room next door which had two open doors into the restaurant. We ended up not having dessert because of this. We will definitely be back but will make sure there is no live music on at the time we are eating. Thanks

    First time dining here and can’t fault a thing from staff, food, and price. Atmosphere was lovely, staff would go above and beyond to help and food was outstanding.
