Food hot, plates hot. Food was excellent so much to choose from. Someone who is allergic to dogs it was great to see dogs only were not allowed only for blind people so very different from other pubs were they sit on seating.

Amazing fresh food, nice bright vegetables, lovely roast potatoes and a good sized portion of meat. Service was also good, pleasant server and attended to quickly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, we really enjoyed our Sunday lunch today.

Had lunch for 2, Husband had a carvery and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He said the turkey was cooked to perfection and the veg was all very good. I had Mediterranean tart as I am vegetarian, it was served on a bed of salad with potatoes and a bread roll, I couldn't eat everything. My only comment would be that the vegetarian/ vegan options were not hood for me as I don't eat curry in the day time and I really didn't like the other option. The ambience was very good and service was good too. Would definitely return if only for the carvery for my husband.

Food excellent and service good and friendly but our son had a coke and half way through we noticed the glass was very unclean with thick lipstick all round the top - didn’t look like it had been washed at all. It put him off his dinner which was a shame.

Went to get dinner with a long line behind me to get served with my meat and yorkie to then go along the line to the vegetables which I had to ask to be filled as they hadn’t been stocked up. Roasters were anaemic and needed to be cooked for longer. I get to the end of the vegetables to see there was no gravy so again had to ask again to be filled up. This isn’t good service when it’s supposed to be a carvery. Such a shame as always go here and always rate the food. Instead of staff just walking around asking if you’d like a drink they need to keep an eye on the food and keep on top of it.
