   Service was incredibly slow. We had to wait a long time for the waitress to come over and take our food order. The chef was lovely but the carvery wasn’t hot, it was just about warm. We were only asked once if we wanted a drink, despite being there for 3 hours and were not told that we needed to go and pay at the bar if we wanted to split the bill. This meant we were sat there for ages waiting for the bill (or even to order another drink would have been nice!) live band started towards the end, who were great but a little loud for the small environment

   The best carvery I’ve ever had. Lots of choice of vegetables and really fresh. Will definitely be making another visit soon

   Food generally was good issue we had was the quantity of meat. My partner asked for only BEEF and on doing so received two very thin slices ! if she had asked for all meats she would have received at lease a slice of each . To me this is not acceptable.

    Always rated my previous experiences here as 5. Unfortunately, this time, whilst the rest of the food was superb, I don't know what on earth happened to the carrots. Totally inedible. Not peeled, so looked dirty, big chunks rather than cut in nice slim rounds and hard as bullets. Looked so unappealing. Come on Nailers, this isn't the usual standard. First time in 12 years I've experienced this. Will be there again New Years Eve and bringing new guests, hope it isn't the same experience....
