   A welcoming and friendly spot to dine in or out. Staff was so friendly, treating us like regulars. We ate in a booth on the patio. The brunch experience was lovely. The plates were well presented and the food innovative and delicious.

   It was pretty good. Definitely get the bread starter and the Good Morning Sunshine cocktail, both excellent. The burrata was okay. The chicken fried steak was completely on point, but the gravy was watery and underwhelming. Our server was very nice, we took a bit to decide on entrees and she came back at intervals that walked that fine line between overbearing and helpful. My friend got the short ribs and grits, which she loved. So, pretty good, not a definite go again. Except for the Good Morning Sunshine. It even involved a tiny clothespin. Yes.

   After seeing The Neighborly reviewed on Check Please, Arizona we put the restaurant on out go to list. The meal started off really well with the Cast Iron Corn Bread (highly recommended). My wife had the daily fish special, Branzino that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes, which I believe they call Shattered Fries. Her meal was excellent, the potatoes were outstanding, the fish cooked to perfection. My dish the Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna is the reason I only gave 3 stars. I am not one to send food back but I should have. The tuna was tasteless, maybe if there was more of the sriracha aioli, which was very sparse, it would have made it better. The salad/side dish that came with was excellent. The meal started out great with the cornbread and ended the same with a Key Lime Pie. We're not giving up on the restaurant and will go back, but no tuna.

   Our waitress was so great - funny and attentive. I liked the small restaurant, neighborhood atmosphere. I had the Branzino that was featured and it was delicious; and those brussels sprouts.....AMAZING!! I will be back!

    The Neighborly never disappoints! Even though we don’t live super close, it is always worth the drive. Service is perfect 🤩 and the food is delicious!
