This was a horrible experience. Service was hopeless, when there was anyone available. Singer barely sang. Huge silent breaks. Food awful.

Half the menu that was on here wasn’t on the menu in the restaurant. I also stated it was a special birthday and they didn’t have a clue. Also seemed shocked when we arrived. A lot of running around and getting everyone’s orders mixed up for a restaurant that wasn’t very busy. Food was mediocre, toastie and McCain fries. They also just assumed we were there for drinks when again I mentioned on open table that it was for a birthday and that we wanted food and drinks. Probably wouldn’t go again

Really wanted to like this place and the staff were very friendly. However, it took nearly 40 mins to receive our drinks order (one cocktail and a coke) and for most of the time we were there there was no one behind the bar. For a place described as a “bar” and which charges around £17 for a martini, that’s not a great look. In fairness I got the impression they were understaffed and as I say I could not fault the staff members on their courtesy. But at this price point it shouldn’t take 40 mins to get a drink. The food was decent but too expensive. c£26 for a burger and a small-ish portion of fries.
I will go back at some point as maybe we caught them on a bad day and luckily we weren’t in any hurry. I just hope it was a one off.
