Overall, it was a nice restaurant and dining experience, since the service was good and the ambiance was lovely. However, the biggest let down was the food. I was expecting really great food and it was below average. Very expensive for what you get and every dish we got (minus the dessert) was mildly warm, almost cold when it got to us. It wasn’t busy so I don’t understand why the food wasn’t piping hot if the kitchen wasn’t even working at capacity. Very overpriced on some dishes, for example the seared scallop - it’s one and it was *tiny* and incredibly underwhelming. We had at least expected it to be one large scallop. Other food we ordered: The flat bread - almost cold and small, the flavour was okay (fairly average) The hispi cabbage - almost cold but a highlight in terms of flavours The twice cooked potato with truffle - tasty but again, almost cold The broccolini - almost cold and slightly burnt in some places The cod dish - a highlight in terms of flavour and fairly good size compared to some of the other dishes Salted caramel banana dessert - very tasty Highlights were: Hispi cabbage Cod dish The dessert Conclusion - the service and ambiance were great but everything else was average and poorly priced.

They didn’t inform us that the Risotto was priced TWICE! Basically once for the Risotto and another time for the truffle added so basically 2 Risottos were for the price of four plates! We paid a huge bill for tiny minuscule portions and when we objected to the manager, she said it wasn’t her problem that we didn’t understand the way they priced! Although we asked the waiter two times once ordering and he never mentioned it! Very frustrating!

Truly delicious food. Beautiful building, warm ambiance and very romantic spot. Quite pricey but ideal for a special occasion. Probably too many staff floating about, trying to pour wine when we did not need it and not communicating with each other. Individually they were great but too many trying to wait our table!

Great cocktails, great presentation and vibe. £22 for half of a small cabbage was laughable (could at least put in the other half to give the illusion of “value”). Taking that out, it’s a nice spot for a date or hosting visitors in an open, comfortable well designed place.
