Absolutely wonderful experience here on Sunday lunchtime. Came to celebrate a family birthday and we all had such a lovely time. Thank you so very much - we’ll most definitely be back! Best roast dinner we’ve had out in a long time.

Another lovely meal with friends. We are very lucky to have such a great pub serving wonderful food nearby! I had the egg with chowder to start - it was incredible. And then had the halibut which was also amazing. The food is really well presented and so well made. Prices are also very good for the quality of food. Great service too. Thank you!

Firstly, let me say that The Oakley is a beautiful pub with great ambiance. We ordered the lunch special of venison ragu but were rather disappointed when a small bowl of food came out and we had waited an hour for it. It was also rather bland. I had to ask the waiter for more water twice which I could have understood if they were busy. However, the sticky toffee pudding was fantastic! So a mixed review.

Fantastic food as usual. The halibut was wonderful and beautifully presented. We were lucky enough to be able to sit out in the garden too.
