   As a vegetarian it's surprisingly hard to find a good nut roast. Now I found one I won't be eating roast anywhere else! The taste, consistency, size and the way it was cooked was perfect! Generous portions and incredible flavours. Perfection!

   We have dined here multiple times and are local residents. We have always enjoyed it however , on this occasion there were a table with young children who had no regard for other diners- the children were screaming and shouting and very loud so has put us off a little. The food and service was good but it wasn’t until the table mentioned left could we even hear the background music being played! Several guests on tables around us were noticing the noise but still they carried on even after remarks were made! Such a shame- I’m a parent and work in education so very use to children however, this ruined a birthday dinner for my son- such a shame!

   This was my fourth visit to the Old Forge Bistro and just as good as before. The food was excellent and the staff friendly as always.

   We eat here regularly and love the small but beautifully produced menu. Fresh local ingredients presented to high standard. Service was a little slower than we are used to they were unexpectedly busier than they thought for a Wednesday in Nov! However the waitress kept us updated and as we were with friends we had a great catch up. Highly recommend this as a go to restaurant throughout the year.

    Absolutely fantastic dining experience! We loved this place so much that we dined here twice during our week in Cornwall, even booking it for our final night. The service was outstanding, with incredibly helpful staff who went out of their way to cater to my husband’s celiac needs, offering plenty of delicious gluten-free options. The food was excellent – we enjoyed both the pizzas and the steak. My steak, in particular, was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The restaurant is also dog-friendly, which made things so easy for us, and the cozy, relaxing ambiance made for such a lovely evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere!
