Great roast and great vibes. Had a great roast dinner with friends and then sung my heat out in the karaoke room

The service was wonderful and the food came out wonderfully fast. Everything was delicious and we were really looked after. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was warm and not hot but it was delicious and we imagine that at such a busy time of day it was understandable. We went at 1:30pm on a Sunday at the end of Black Friday so London was quite busy. It was a great pub in a lovely quaint area and was very accessible by tube and I would definitely recommend it to somebody. We had the vegetarian roast, chicken and beef and the cauliflower cheese and they were all very tasty.

The food was not hot at all. Sunday roast. How hard is it to make that hot. The Yorkshire pudding was terrible. Definitely not fresh or homemade. The meat was decent.

As always, a lovely experience. Top service, good roasts and a white chocolate and ginger cheesecake worth the visit alone. Highly recommend.

It’s a shame to be honest the old queens head use to have a banging roast one of my favourite of last year. I had been here a few times and never a complaint. I’m assuming it’s a new kitchen team since my last visit as the food standard is not what it was infact it’s now rubbish. I ordered the lamb roast ; the lamb I would describe as being less than average ( I left Atleast half as it was mostly fat ) forget about the trimmings: I had two under cooked potatoes, two of each hard and cold carrots/parsnips, a spoon full of peas ( I mean no more than 10 truly ) some kale and an over cooked Yorkshire. Honestly laughable compared to my previous visits the standard has dropped and it’s such a shame. Anyway two roasts two drinks and a side of cream corn will set you back £62 which isn’t bad pricing if the roast wasn’t so s**t anyway I will say the plus is that the staff have always been super friendly I would 100% recommend going for drinks but I won’t be booking a roast here again

The food was poor. The knives were so worn out that they barely could cut a potato, much less beef.

I found the Old Queen's Head searching haunted places in London, and I'm so glad I did because it was a fantastic experience! The FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! My husband and parents got the Sunday beef roast and I got the mushroom wellington and they were to die for. The atmosphere was so cool. It felt like you were stepping back into another time with all the décor. It felt really fancy and upscale, but also comfortable and inviting. It did feel like it could get spooky in there, but we didn't run into any ghosts. I did ask the server who told me some of the experiences they had, which was fun. A pint and a story! Love it. The staff was really wonderful and helpful. They even let us stay a little late. 10 stars. I definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the area.
