With so many other great spots to choose from, I wouldn’t go back here. Fairly uninspiring menu, poor quality of food and poor service.

Sunday brunch before a film. Good choice of food, my friends were all pleased with their vegetarian or vegan breakfasts and I had the chefs salad, which was tasty, if perhaps a little over-dressed and with a generous portion of halloumi at extra cost.

The food and also the staff were lovely. However the staff openly allowed a customer to vape inside. I don't think this is appropriate and would make me think twice about going there again.

Sadly 'ordinary' describes Olive Branch now. This used to be a favourite place. It was lively, busy snd the food was tasty. Now it's kinda tired. I don't think the menu has changed in years, and it seems like the kitchen staff are bored. The food was very ordinary. On the upside, the serving staff were friendly, chatty, and helpful. As a vegetarian I was served the wrong meal a burger, but this was quickly corrected. I think the Olive Branch needs a major refresh, and a new menu.

Hi Nicholas The menu is changed regularly. Seven separate dishes had been changed in the two weeks leading up to your visit. We do keep some core dishes on like the burgers etc but the rest we change on a regular basis. Ask your server next time if you are unsure about this. As for your meal, this was a mistake by your server putting the wrong dish on the cheque for the kitchen which was quickly changed for you by the kitchen staff. You will be pleased to know that we are having some painting and maintenance carried out over the next couple of days to refresh the restaurant. All the best The Olive Branch Team
