   Had a lovely Sunday Roast here before , so decided to go back and was not disappointed, best Roast dinner in the area .

   Sadly, we did not have a good evening at The Olive Tree on this occasion. The service was very slow and the waiting staff forgot to order our starter and just appeared with our main courses. It felt very cold in the restaurant, so we did not stay long after eating. Previous visits have been excellent, but the menu has changed and was not very inspiring this time. Unfortunately we will not be rushing back which is a shame, as its such a great pub.

   We visited The Olive Tree on a Wednesday lunch time. The welcome was very friendly and shown to a lovely little table for 2. The menu was very varied and we made our choices. The food was served swiftly and very hot. The food was beautifully served. The meals were of a very generous portion and full of flavour absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to make another visit to The Olive Tree.

   Service quite poor, servers didn’t seem organised & were not efficient, I asked for a wine list, it took ages to arrive then looked like they’d got it out of the bin- very stained & crumpled. Food took a long time to arrive, when it did my peas were cold & hard & tartare sauce had a skin on it!

   I had the scallops today off the specials board. Perfectly cooked with a wonderful sauce and chorizo. Wonderful! Yesterday was the trout marinated in lemon juice and stuff. Yum Yum too. The food here is stunning and the staff are so good. Thanks folks.
