I got to the restaurant and nobody/host to greet me or ask about my reservation. They had two different parties going on and wasn’t sure what was what. After walking into one of the parties and try to talk to the waiter he looks clueless but later took me to the back of the restaurant in the other room that wasn’t set up. He later setup a table for me and my friend which was pretty quiet. The place is nice but communication is very important when you have a business. Being open for customers on Open table but hosting two different parties at the same time makes it look unprofessional. I will still go back to give it another try.

Service was great when the waitress actually showed up. Menu was odd but what we ordered we liked. Would have ordered more after apps if our waitress ever returned. We called it a night and went to grab wings. Good concept poor execution.

Appetizers were decent (Calamari and Crabcake Sliders). Shrimp fried rice had frozen shrimp and rice as well as noodle dish were extremely buttery and heavy. Red Velvet cake dessert was store bought cake.

The Opulent was an amazing experience. It wasn't crowded and we made reservations so there was no wait time! The food was delicious. I didn't particulary like the peppered chicken I had but everything else was 5 stars for sure. The lamb, chicken, shrimp, veggie rice and zucchini eggplant fritters were all amazing. Not to mention the drinks were good as well. The bartender T was amazing and very accomodating! Loved the atmosphere.

The food was really quite good. While there is some emphasis on Indian it really is more than that. And, our server was excellent. However, I'm having trouble with the decor and atmosphere. The kindest thing I could say about the atmosphere is "peculiar." The furniture and pictures were just to strange. I think I know what the goal was but it missed. Still, if you can look past it, the place is worth a visit.
