Welcome to The Oyster Rock, a family-owned and operated waterfront Calabash seafood restaurant specializing in excellent seafood and raw bar items, mixed with a flavorful variety of mouth-watering beef, chicken and pork dishes, along with sandwiches and burgers all prepared in house every day using only the freshest and finest ingredients from local and regional suppliers and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean right outside our doors.

Overlooking the scenic Calabash River and its pristine estuaries and relaxing atmosphere, The Oyster Rock provides the most amazing view around, from our indoor and outdoor seating areas and bars featuring more than 24 domestic and imported beers on tap, 30 wines by the glass and a delicious collection of specialty cocktails.

    Amazing New Years Day dinner with family & friends. The food was awesome and the service impeccable. Definitely the best restaurant in Calabash and the surrounding area.

    Oyster Rock never disappoints ! The food and service are wonderful. There’s no place like it in the area. It’s my first choice for seafood when we are in town.

    As expected, it was very busy New Year's Eve. However, we felt very rushed and there was a mix-up in the order of courses. The manager did discuss our concern and gave a credit for an appetizer. We've dined here many times and have enjoyed the food and the view. I guess the answer is to avoid major holidays. The Oyster Pit had beautiful decorations, and the fire pit is not to be missed.

    We know Oyster Rock’s excellent food and service will be worth the 50 minute drive. We love Oyster Rock! My favorite dish is the House Salad with citrus vinaigrette. Last night I enjoyed the mahi mahi with pineapple salsa. I couldn’t decide on my side so I asked our server for a recommendation. Au gratin potatoes for the win! Delicious meal!

    2024 birthday dinner, didn’t disappoint! Fresh oysters, crab dip, she crab soup, filet mignon and queen trigger fish. Blueberry cobbler with a candle and happy birthday seranade with coffee with frangelica to finish.
