   A wonderful Sunday lunch had at the Pickled Sprout this weekend. Two course for £25 was great value for money. Extra veg brought to the table on request & great ambience around the venue.

   Music loud which made people talk louder so very noisy hard to talk not great ambience for dining.

   We ate in the garden room. It was pleasant sitting on high stools. We had a view of twinkling lights outside. The waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent. We did not have to wait a long time before the food arrived.

   We booked a table at 6 pm in the restaurant. The bar area was bustling however the restaurant was ambient and peaceful. We are up in Harrogate on a weekend away celebrating a birthday. Online booking straightforward and easy to use. Menu choice was good. We chose the Garlic and herb Chicken from the grill menu and the lambs liver. Service was prompt. Meal presentation was excellent and taste to match. We had date pudding for sweet. Service prompt. Presentation excellent. Taste delicious. Cost was in line with our expectations and we had value for money.
