   Excellent cocktails and dinner. We ordered The Reuben, I plan to eat here for St Patrick's vs. our tradition of a local deli. It was piled high, fresh and delicious.

   Lovely hotel, lovely to just walk through on the way to the restaurant. They really did a stunning job renovating this whole bar and restaurant area. We had a delicious meal including shrimp skewers and a delicious bone in rib eye cooked to perfection. Our server took good care of us. All in all a lovely laid back experience.

   Service was fast, consistent and friendly. I had the pork shank with mashed potatoes and green beans that was outstanding. Two of my guests had the chicken marsala and loved it. One guest had the sea bass and thought it a bit bland but all was cooked right. Not, he was expecting Chilean sea bass but received a North Atlantic sea bass that isn't as rich. It was as was described on the menu. Wine list is adequate and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful dining experience sitting by the windows looking onto the downtown. We will return to the Pine Room and stay at the Hotel Roanoke again!!!

   Good food but a little slow. The hotel was very busy so that could have been the problem. I will go again. Nice place with a beautiful bar right outside the restaurant.

   Food was great, service was fast. We sat next to the fireplace and could watch the chefs make our food in the open concept kitchen. Everything appeared very clean. Our waitress Penny was the best waitress we’ve ever had! Henry was our bartender and he made the best drinks with an amazing story about his No Place Like Home cocktail that you have to hear. Highly recommend The Pine Room!

   A delightful dining experience at the Hotel Roanoke. Simple but pleasant menu and terrific staff. Rudy and Penny were both wonderful -- warm and welcoming, professional and personable. We were so glad to have a nice place for dinner right in the hotel given the rain outside! Just lovely!

   The food was absolutely terrible The steak came off a meat truck my wife's chicken was foul and dry.the demi glaze tasted like bbq sauce.the salad was good The veggies over cooked and to much salt on everything. The drinks were good.the cheese cake plate came out of a box.98$ and they took the steak off the bill but was all pretty terrible..the waitress was awesome I tipped her her tip plus the cost of steak they took off :)goto McDonald's ur better off
