   We had a great first experience at The Pines celebrating my husband’s birthday. We enjoyed our appetizers (ricotta toast and calamari)and almost hesitated to order dinner. We both chose dishes from the Thursday night Comfort Food menu. We both loved the salad and Parker roll included with the meal. I wished I had asked about the spice/heat level on the pasta dish after spotting fra diavolo on the regular menu. Indeed my dish was a bit more spicy than I had expected but my husband willingly swapped and I enjoyed his chicken. Our attentive server noticed the exchange of plates and later the manager presented my husband with a chicken order to go on the house, a very nice touch especially since we had not asked. We didn’t want to leave without sampling dessert so we shared a lemon tart that brought a great meal to a close. The Shape of You cocktail was delightful as well. We will return!!

   The restaurant was walking distance from Rehoboth Beach. The service and waiter/bartender was phenomenal. The drinks were tasty and strong. The value for the entire meal was incredible. It’s a highly recommendation for me!! B

   The service and food preparation was outstanding! The salmon and short rib entrees are highly recommended. Excellent Peanut Butter Pie. The best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. Bravo!!

   We were very excited about dining at The Pines. Unfortunately, on this evening it fell a bit short of my expectations. I believe they were understaffed . Do not attempt to order cocktails that are not on the standard menu. Not having a draft beer selection was also quite…odd.

   Our “go to” restaurant when we want a night out. Food consistently excellent. Highly recommend a Pines Manhattan. 🥃 Servers are attentive and great people to get to know. Top off your meal with the Lemon Tart for dessert. Relax and enjoy!

   After a less then impressive visit shortly after opening, we returned for a wine tasting with food pairings. I must say the food was exquisite, although not as hot as I would have liked. The wines by Morgan were a taste sensation. All in all, do this more often in the off season!!!!!! This was fun, educational and just a nice evening out!!!!! Well done!!!!!
