The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

The food was excellent, as always ( rainbow trout with Parmesan crust and crabmeat topping). Terry , our server, was the best. Attentive and a blast to talk to. The Herb House/Room is our granddaughter’s favorite and we were seated in one of the rooms tonight. Don’t miss out on a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

Food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend the fried chicken, shrimp and grits and the gumbo. For appetizer, fried green tomatoes and Brussel sprouts are a hit! Take the tour with the pirate to find out more about the house

Definitely worth it. The best part was the private tour from the “pirate” which was available just by asking. Amazing history.

The Honey Pecan Chicken is perfect every time. The crab cakes were ok… a little too much breading. Good drinks. Excellent friendly wait staff. Bonus: fun Pirate Store upstairs with large selection of Pirate tee shirts and gifts.
