   this is my second time eating at this restaurant. the food is always amazing! i had the cod with crab meat on top. everyone else had the steak frites and enjoyed their food as well. we had calamari as our appetizer and the sauce that was paired with it was so good! the only issue we had was with the service. it did not seem that busy in there even though it was new year’s eve. our waitress left our table several times before we were even done asking questions or ordering and did not return to our table for long periods of time. we had to ask her for water several times. she also did not mention the “specials” until after we had already placed our orders. most importantly, she forgot to place one of the steak frites orders so a member of our party sat without food for half of our meal. the waitress did not come to check on us or our food until we were half way through the meal. luckily, the missing meal was comped but still unacceptable. by the time it arrived, we were ready to leave. our gratuity was included which probably accounted for the poor service. again, the food is always great but if i return i will probably only sit at the bar.

   The restaurant had no heat. They never informed us or warned us. We had made a special trip into time, so we sat and ate in our coats. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The manager admitted that the heat is completely broken and they don’t have the part to fix it. He offered an extremely tepid apology for an unacceptable situation.

   The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was so fresh, and well prepared. The service was impeccable and drinks were tasty. I will definitely return. Job well done!

   Overall good experience. Service was commendable from being seated. The food was very good. Atmosphere was very nice. Overall good experience. I would recommend The Point. Its a nice place to get chic or even dressy for a night out. I recommend this place.

   The restaurant was beautiful. Our waiter Kevin was excellent and the food was delicious.We even had the pleasure of meeting the general manager Matthew who was very kind and friendly. The Point is on point . I would definitely go here again.

   Went for Thanksgiving on the River. It was wonderful. The hostess madder sure we had a table with a view! The entire staff was attentive. There was no pressure to hurry through our meal.

   We had their Thanksgiving dinner and everything was delicious. The service is outstanding. The GM even stopped by to see if we were enjoying our meal and shared a recipe with us. Highly recommend

   First one of the reasons we picked the Point is we have eaten there before and your chef/chefs make the best BRUSSEL SPROUTS in D.C. The wait person was extremely attentive and came by many times to be sure we did not need anything., Your bus people were also very attentive. The meal was very tasty and the price was reasonable........shall dine there again soon. Thanks Best Thomas Walsh

    Went to The Point DC for their Thanksgiving on the River. Food was delicious! Good idea to have sides served family style on our table but would have liked for staff to have waited for us to finish eating the crab donuts and other appetizers before putting sides on table so that sides could be hot when we went to carving station. Staff and server were professional and friendly.
