I had the pleasure of dining at The Polo Club in Holmdel and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The décor strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort, making it ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. The service was exceptional. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to offer recommendations tailored to our preferences. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to ensuring a seamless dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—an absolute triumph. Each dish we ordered was dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and creative For the main course, I chose the 6 oz filet mignon and lobster tail and it was cooked to perfection—every bite was a testament to the quality of ingredients and expert preparation. Another standout aspect was the drink menu. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or a cocktail lover, the selection is thoughtfully curated to complement the dishes perfectly. The Polo Club goes above and beyond in every aspect, making it a standout in the city’s dining scene. It’s clear that passion and creativity fuel every aspect of this establishment. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will undoubtedly return soon. Rating: 5/5

This is the 3rd New Years we were here and always had a good experience. This time not very good. Cut down menu from past years and food was cold. The service from the kitchen was terrible. Will not be back next New Years. Sorry

We were there on New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed the food especially the Rack of Lamb. I also especially enjoyed my speciality martini, the Christmas Cookie Martini. We did have to wait about 20 minutes or so for a table even though we had a reservation but we didn’t mind as we had a drink in their lovely bar in front of a nice toasty fire in the gas fireplace. We understand it’s hard to find reliable help these days especially since Covid and they were short handed as some servers failed to show up. We still had a very nice experience and will definitely visit them again.

3rd visit here. Remains one of my favorite Monmouth County restaurants. Wonderful ambience, great food and stellar service. Thanks to Brandon for his charming and attentive service to our needs. Additional shout out to Pauline who remembered us from our first visit over a year ago and came over to say hi...!!

Very nice restaurant with a great ambiance in the bar area and multiple levels of the dining areas. Quality food and drinks. Also , enough separation in the dining areas if you have younger children.

Wanted to take the family, 5 of us, out for a nice diner this evening and never having been to The Polo Club in Holmdel I thought why not give it a try. I had 6:45 reservation and we were seated on time. Seated for at least 20 minutes before our server took our food order. Once ordered we waited for over an hour before our food was served. Food arrived and it was cold and the sides were meager in size. Check arrived and nothing meger about it! Overall a very disappointing experience, so much so I can't imagine ever returning.

Great ambiance in the lounge. Staff very accommodating. The piano player was great. Sat us right by the fireplace which was cozy. Food was delicious. Decorated pretty for the Holidays.

A big disappointment. Staff in short supply. 3hr 15 min for a party of 6. Asked at start if we could do 3 tabs for cc purposes. Sure. Entrees for 2 arrived 20 min before the other 4 meals. Blamed this on the separate checks. Huh? Then while bringing a knife, they drop it on our guest cutting his finger, needs bandaids. Ok, they would comp desserts. Then they bring us flask of prosecco as a intended nice gesture but spill it over the guest they dropped knife on. Other guests never got served their “drink”. Bill comes and those that had coffee were charged 3.50 each for milk. Really? And the person who had tea was charged $5. Never again.
