   The food was marvellous and we especially loved the seafood. Very good organic wine as well. Food and drinks are pretty good value for high quality and the Port House has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Our niggles were with the service, as there were a few issues, like long waits to get a waiter's attention (we ended up having to approach the bar ourselves a couple times); asking for water which never arrived; one of our dishes not arriving (we asked about it twice - no response) and then finding we'd been charged for this dish at the end. Our waiter (who was generally quite surly) seemed incredulous that we hadn't received it - even though we'd tried to chase it up twice! We felt the 12.5% service charge was steep given the mediocre service but we paid it as the food and wine were excellent.

   Great food and atmosphere. Staff made some good recommendations on food to try. Outstanding overall would highly recommend for date night/special occasion. Will be going again.

   Fantastic food and great staff with probably cheaper prices than Macdonalds for 1000 times better food with less harmful ingredients. it’s a little gem 👌

   Great food, nice ambience and staff fine. Tiny portions for the money. They have lost a star from me as they used to have draft lager and now bottled only so £11 for a pint. Won't come again as I won't book anywhere that does not serve draft beer.

   A very lively, compact venue. Excellent atmosphere with people eating before theatre, some just meeting friends and others trying for the first time. Excellent attentive and friendly staff. A joy of a restaurant!

   Excellent, great service, food was perfect, especially the croquettes, amazing that all fried products are made with gluten free flour. Will definitely come again. Great atmosphere too.

   Delicious food and amazing staff! Every wine and dish they recommended was delicious, and the churros were absolutely fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!

    Always excellent service. All of the staff are amazing, helpful and provide so much help and advice. Food is always the best too. It's been our best restaurant for so many years. Thank you so much all of you ❤️
